Giving a toast on behalf of a friend can be fun and rewarding. It is so easy to take friendship for granted. When you have an occasion to raise a glass in good cheer to an important friend in your life it is a great time to be sentimental. Aside from gender-bashing toasts reserved for girls and guys night out, there may be times when you want to say something meaningful.
